BREAK GLASS

A “break glass” is an emergency safety mechanism used to inaugurate a system in the course of an emergency. Also used in fire alarms, emergency stop systems, or security systems; it requires smashing a glass panel to get to a switch or device. Its aim is to offer an instantaneous reply in the event of an emergency, for instance, fire outbreak, a person’s ailment or any other form of harm incidents. The purpose of the glass is such that it cracks on impact, but it will not harm the people. This system make sure that alarm mechanism is instantly pulled without the necessity of waiting for someone to open or use tallied panel. It is easy and comprehensible, but very useful to improve security and avoid time-wasting in case of an emergency.
